We are currently looking to hire an Information Security Analyst, reporting to the Information Security Officer, to work out of Clifton, New Jersey. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for the monitoring and review of the Bank’s security controls to detect cybersecurity threats, provide a risk analysis of business applications and the Bank’s IT infrastructure to improve security functionality. The qualified candidate will also be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the security metrics for the Bank, participate as a member of the Incident Response Team (IRT) and communicate effectively and take appropriate action to reduce the overall risk to the Bank and its customers.

Daily Requirements and Responsibilities Include:

• Review security event logs and alerts from security systems and tools such as Firewall, IDS/IPS, DLP, SIEM and Syslog.
• Provide an analysis of security events and investigate cybersecurity threats to the environment.
• Identify and communicate threat intelligence to appropriate stakeholders.
• Analyze, document and escalate security incidents per the Bank’s Policy.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions.
• Maintain updated knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Perform risk analysis’ and security assessments to identify gaps, new threats and evaluate mitigation actions.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing.
• Carry out user access reviews based on job descriptions and roles.
• Provide reporting for trending and key performance indicators related to the Bank’s Information Security Program.
• Perform activities to help measure and monitor compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

The Successful Candidate Should Possess the Following:

A 4-year College Degree with 1-3 years prior experience as an Information Security Analyst having strong knowledge in:

• IT Systems which include Windows, Linux, VM Ware technologies, VDI Environment etc., and Network infrastructure, including but not limited to Routers, Firewalls (CISCO and Palo Alto) and Firewall Analyzer.
• The configuration of security tools anti-virus tolls such as ESET, McFee, Splunk, DarkTrace, DLP, CyberArk, Identity and Access Management.
• Patch Management, Incident Management, Vendor Management, and Risk Assessments.
• Knowledge of any vulnerability assessment and GRC tools is desirable.
